This was one of the most challenging parts of the whole process. Making the screenplay in the correct format was quite challenging, as well as coming up with camera shots that would most reflect what we were trying to put out. Here I'll attach the screenplay, story board and shot list

We then created a mood board to further communicate our visuals and ideas. We also made a shared Pinterest board where everyone added their own ideas as well.
We started by drafting ideas and gathering inspiration from already existing music videos. We all collectively agreed that we wanted the video to have an old school feel to it, specifically 70s inspired, so our inspiration was centered around this idea. We took a lot of inspiration from these three videos in terms of the color grading, as well as the mise-en-scene(mostly the costumes) as we felt these aspects matched our vision
As a media class, we were divided into groups of 5 and tasked with creating a music video with a song chosen by our teacher. The chosen song was Hypotheticals by Lake Street Dive

So far I do not have any concrete ideas but I looked through my options and I am now caught between creating a music video and a short film. Below I will outline the reasons why each option would be a good choice:
Music video:
This would be convenient as my brother is a musician so I have access to original music
Short film:
This would let me have more creative freedom as I can create a storyline of my own whereas a music video could be a little limiting in my opinion.
